Please read over the following rules carefully. They concern the general usage of this site.
Ignorance is no excuse.
1. Be respectful.
This rule is a simple one. It doesn't say 'be respectful to so-and-so, because you like them, but treat other-so-and-so like dirt, because you don't'. It doesn't matter who it is, treat them with respect. Guest, member, staff. Treat others how you want to be treated.
2. No drama.
Plain and simple. Don't create drama for the site. Yes, this is a site with a plot that absolutely spells d-r-a-m-a; and that is fine. However, I don't want to catch anyone causing drama outside of Roleplay. Very few people enjoy actual drama, if you do, then take it elsewhere.
3. Obey the staff.
The staff of this site are here to be respected and obeyed. They do outrank you, and have more authority than you. As such, you need to do as they ask. If a staff member is abusing you, don't cause problems, bring proof the the Administrator and let her handle it.
4. No chatspeak.
To put this simply, it's retarded. And I mean absolutely no offense to anyone who might have a mental disorder. It won't be tolerated here. There's no need for it, and I ask that you speak in full, grammaticly proper sentences.
5. Be active.
Our rule about activity is easy: if you're inactive for more than two weeks with no warning, there will be no questions asked, your account will be deleted, your posts will be archived, and your characters will be declared roadkill. If you come back, unless your excuse is brilliant AND convincing, you'll have to start from scratch.
6. Cursing.
Yes, you may curse. In character and out of character. However, I don't one to see you overkilling the language. I curse, I know many people do. That doesn't mean you have the right to curse every other word, or curse anyone out. You know damn well when it's inappropriate.
7. Have fun and enjoy yourself.
The one thing I can't make you do. Try to have fun with the site, enjoy your time here, and, in turn, make other's time here enjoyable, too. Don't exclude others, or you might be excluded. Don't hurt others, or you might be hurt. Let's my a dysfunctional family and have a great time.
